BOOKINGS, PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION

  • To secure your booking, we require a 50% deposit of full invoice value.
  • Each invoice is valid for 14 days.
  • Balance of payment is due one week before collection/delivery of order. No items will be released until full payment has been received.
  • The standard order time will be one day, allowing a day for collection/delivery and a day for return/pickup. Weekend events will be a Friday collection/delivery and Monday return/pickup, unless other arrangements have been made.
  • The hirer is fully responsible for all the items for the duration of the event, from time of collection/delivery until items are returned to The Wedding Table.
  • If you wish to cancel your booking, the following refund options will apply based on the full invoice value:
  • 50% refund will be paid back with 30 days or more notice.
  • 25% refund will be paid back with less than 30 days notice.
  • Anything under 15 days notice will result in no refund.
  • Please note that the refund will be paid back into the specified account within 7 days of notice.

DAMAGES, SHORTAGES AND LOSS

  • A refundable deposit will be charged at the discretion of The Wedding Table to cover potential damages/shortages or loss.
  • Any damages/shortages or loss will be deducted from the refundable deposit at the full replacement charge of the item.
  • In the event that the damage fees does not cover the full replacement cost, the client remains liable to cover any balance owed.
  • Orders to be checked on collection/delivery. No discrepancies about quantities, loss or shortages will be accepted after collection/delivery.
  • Should an order not return as per The Wedding Table arrangement, a late return fee will be charged at 20% of the total invoice per day and deducted from the refundable deposit.
  • The rented items remain the property of The Wedding Table.

PACKAGING

  • All items will generally be packaged with protective wrap and placed in crates or other containers for maximum care.
  • After your event, ensure that all items are repackaged carefully with the protective wrap in the supplied crates or containers as in the condition they were received.

CARE AND CLEANING

  • All items must be cleaned before being returned/collected, if necessary. Failure to do so will result in an additional cleaning charge.
  • Should you hire our cutlery range, please ensure you wipe down the pieces with a damp cloth straight after the event, in order to prevent straining/damages. Please don’t wash with soap or any other detergent.
  • Do not use any abrasives, sponges containing metal fibres, harsh wash cloths, aggressive chemicals and polish on items, especially cutlery as it might damage the plating or take it off all together.
